 Explore Your Teeth Whitening Options

While a whiter smile can be indicative of healthy teeth and gums, it can also do its part to boost your self-confidence. If you’re feeling less-than-Teeth Whitening thrilled about your smile, it can have a negative impact on your social life. Interacting with others can be a challenge if you’re afraid to smile or even open your mouth. If you’re finding yourself rather close-lipped these days due to your teeth, there are ways to boost your smile and with it, your confidence.

So how do you get your teeth looking whiter? Maybe you’ve already tried whitening products that you purchased from your local pharmacy. Perhaps you weren’t too impressed by the results. We’ve heard this a lot from our patients. However, if you come into our office you’ll find that our professional whitening system is completely different from the products you can find at your grocery store. However, we will give you a couple teeth whitening options to see which one fits you best:

In-office teeth whitening

The combination of our latest technology coupled with powerful whitening products means that you are going to get the most reliable whitening possible. Before we whiten your teeth we will cover your gums to protect them from our strong whitening agents (this is something you can’t get with over-the-counter whitening products). A device will hold your cheeks and lips away from your teeth as we apply a professional-grade hydrogen peroxide gel to your teeth. In only an hour your teeth will be significantly brighter. The results are instant, so you’ll be able to walk out of the office seeing the difference (and others will, too!).

At-home teeth whitening

And we don’t mean the over-the-counter products that you could find just about anywhere. These professional whitening gels and custom trays ensure that your teeth get the best whitening treatment possible with the added bonus of being in your own home.

First thing’s first, we will have you come in so we can take a mold of your teeth. We do this so we can create your custom trays. Each time you whiten, you will fill the trays with whitening gel and wear them for an hour. Unlike with in-office whitening, at-home whitening may take a few weeks before you see optimal results; however, over time, your teeth will grow increasingly brighter and whiter. If you’re looking for instant whitening results, then our in-office whitening would probably be a better option for you.

Were you impressed with our professional teeth whitening? We want to hear from both those who had in-office whitening and those who are whitening at home? How do our treatments compare to over-the-counter products you’ve used in the past? We would love to know!
